Digital Image Conversion

Just as we can do for your photographs we can also do for your negatives. You might have lost the original photographs but still have the negatives. No problem, our scanners will scan the negative and re-create the original picture
Each negative is scanned and a high resolution copy made. If all you require is a digital backup of your image that you can use in the future, then the digital image we provide will allow you to do just that..
The main digital image is often very large and therefore unsuitable for emailing to your friends or family so we also provide a series of compressed copies of the new digital image.
If you want to obtain a printed copy of your digital image in the future, you would either take or post a copy of your disk and instruct the printers to use the high resolution master copy of your image.
When you want to email copies of your images to friends or family you would select one of the compressed versions to save yours and your family and friends time and money in downloading them.
We also provide versions suitable for uploading to online web albums.

You will often find you have more negatives than you had photographs, or, not all negatives will be of pictures that you want to keep. It is often difficult to see from such tiny images which ones that you want to keep. Whilst we can simply scan all of them and return a complete set, we can also email you small samples of each negative image for you to decide which ones you want to include in your final package. You can always have a set of the complete negatives scanned in, but we will only include those images you want in any final CD/DVD presentation (whether it be a slide show or movie).
