Retouching

You should be aware however that retouching can never restore the image back to its original quality. Retouching is often required when your image has been damaged in some form or another. This 'damage' usually means that 'information' is missing from the original. Once lost, this information can never be retrieved and the process of retouching attempts to recreate the information as best as possible.
This maybe in the form of scratch removal, colour correction and contrast enhancement.

The process of retouching is the most labour intensive operation of the process and does incur a extra charge for this service. We can carry out varying degrees of retouching from a generic image enhancement right up to having 'that special' picture restored as best we can.

Some of the techniques we carry out are: red eye removal, colour correction, focus enhancement, contrast correction, 'air brushing' of blemishes and many more...
