Converting your Video to Digital

At cddvdmemories we can convert your VHS Videos into a variety of digital formats. VHS Tapes can degrade quite quickly over time depending on how and where you store them. VHS uses magnetic tape to store the images and this can be affected by a number of factors. Once converted the digital image will stay as it was transferred and never degrade further.

Video to Digital Conversion

We can provide a straight transfer from your VHS tapes to DVD that will allow you to watch your old VHS movies on any compatible PC or DVD player.
Old VHS recordings can be enhanced to bring life back to those old recordings you made many years ago but you should remember that once your video has degraded, it can be a long an expensive process to recover the video but it will never be as good as the original.

Depending on the final format you decide and the amount you want to pay for the conversion process, this can under certain circumstances lead to 'artifacts' being present on the screen. (The short description of artifacts means that the picture can become blocky when there is a lot of movement present in the image frame of the video).

We can also transfer your VHS video to a format compatible with most software editing tools to allow you to produce your own movies, or we can perform this for you. We will discuss this with you during the quotation period.
